ITI at biggest symposium for fluid technology
The 8th International Fluidic Colloquium (IFK) is one of the world’s most important symposiums of its kind in the industry. In 2012, manufacturers and users of fluidic powertrains come together in Dresden to discuss trends and new strategies.
As part of the program Uwe Grätz, Manager Engineering at ITI, will be giving a presentation on “Dynamic analysis of hydraulic powertrains for bascule bridges“ examining hydraulic cylinders at work. It focuses on achievable timings for raising and lowering the bascules, speed changes during start-up and halting as well as the dynamic performance of the entire hydraulic system. The presentation outlines the whole process from defining the task at hand up to the system design and component models.
Moreover, ITI will publish the article “Resource and energy efficient design through virtual prototypes for mobile engines” together with the Dresden University of Technology. Visit ITI’s booth at the accompanying exhibition.
