One Model with a Wealth of Options

SimulationX has long proven its excellent performance in industry and science.

  • A range of industry-specific and customizable libraries describe all plant components, including their physical interactions.
  • The modular architecture ensures optimal overall functionality that meets customer-specific requirements.
  • Code-export functions, standardized interfaces, and model import allow the exchange of parameters, result variables, structures, and graphics with supplemental calculation software.
  • The standardized database and the model-based approach facilitate transparent development processes.
  • The user-friendly graphical interface enables complex models to be set up precisely and intuitively.
  • In addition, the Modelica tool allows the design and simulation of individual models to solve multidisciplinary tasks, as well as the visualization of results.

SimulationX combines preprocessing, solving, and postprocessing in a single environment. Result curves can be observed and analyzed online, and parameters can even be adjusted during the calculation process.

  • Transient and steady-state simulation
  • Time and frequency domain analysis
  • Linear and nonlinear systems
  • Vibration and order analysis
  • Input/output analysis
  • Parameter analyses
  • Test systems for HiL, SiL, and MiL
  • Reliability analysis

User-friendly and Intuitive

The most obvious advantage of SimulationX is its graphical user interface with flexible and intuitive working methods. Dialogs and windows are well-structured, comfortable and easy to understand, units are available for each parameter or variable, algebraic and/or logical expressions can be used for any parameter. Model objects can be grouped together easily to form new model types and elements. Additional ports can be assigned among other things to any standard element.

Enjoy an excellent aplication interface with an individually configurable work space.

  • As the model objects themselves, the connections are addressable and parametrizable.
  • The location of automatically routed connections can be modified manually.
  • Using metering displays, controls, text blocks, and graphics you confection your model in a well-documented and self-explaining manner.
An explorer provides access to the model hierarchy and all kinds of parameters and variables (real numbers, integers, characteristic curves, tables, text, etc.).
  • Existing object types as well as the user-defined favorites (often used object types collected in a separate folder) are displayed in a tree-structured view.
  • Multi-body systems are visualized in a 3D view, featuring tools for the adjustment of object positions and orientations, as well as of the scenery itself.
  • Using the multi-parameterization feature you select objects with common parameters and enter those only once.
  • Customizable tracing and debugging
    • Depending on whether you develop a model or perform extensive variant calculations, you specify, to which extend the internal computation cycle is logged.
  • The direct internet connection to the ITI Support delivers quick aid for the solution of your problems.
  • A Database Link provides easy access to parameter databases (Access, Excel, Oracle, etc.). The parameterization from a database is supported for any model object parameter.
